Frequently Asked Questions

Can I join without a team?
Yes. You can register as an individual and we’ll do our best to place you into a suitable team.
What do I need to bring?
Bring suitable sportswear, water and appropriate footwear. Tag League shorts or tights are required for official competition play.
How many players do I need to register a team?
We recommend 10 to 15 players per team so you have enough numbers across the season.
What skill level are the competitions?
Tag League welcomes all skill levels, from first timers through to experienced rugby league, touch and tag players.
What happens if it rains?
Wet weather updates are posted through Tag League communication channels, including the website and social pages.
Can I play in more than one competition?
Yes. Players can take part in multiple competitions, provided they are correctly registered and financial.
How long are the games?
Standard outdoor games are 40 minutes, played as two 20 minute halves.
Are mixed competitions truly mixed?
Yes. Mixed competitions are designed for male and female players to play together in a fun, social and competitive format.
How do fixtures and finals work?
Fixtures and standings are managed online, with finals eligibility based on player registration, payment status and games played.
