The Heritage Cup is a Tag League tournament where every team represents their heritage. Across the weekend you’ll get high-intensity tag, mini competitions, cultural performances, food trucks, prizes and exclusive Heritage Cup merch.
The Heritage Cup is held at Mark Leece Sporting Complex on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 February 2026.
The Heritage Cup is open to Under 15 Boys, Under 15 Girls, Under 17 Boys, Under 17 Girls, Open Age Men, and Open Age Mixed teams.
Team-only registration is $500 per team.
Yes. Spots are capped in each age group and registrations will close once an age group fills.
Yes. All players must be registered and financial to participate in the tournament.
Teams can register a minimum of 10 players and a maximum of 15 for the event (recommended so you’re covered for knocks and fatigue).
No. Players cannot substitute into a team for injury or other reasons. This is why we allow up to 15 players per team — so you can plan for injuries and fatigue.
Yes. All teams must be in the same uniform with unique numbers on the back of jerseys/singlets. Numbers must be between 0 and 999.
Yes. All players must wear Tag League shorts. Belts are not permitted. Tag shorts or tights will not be provided at the event, so please organise them in advance.

We follow standard Tag League rules. You can view them on our website (link your rules page here).
Yes. Each team will be given a 3m x 3m space for a team tent. If you require a larger space, fees will apply.
Yes. Each team will receive one assigned car space, located closest to “tent city” to make bump-in and bump-out easier.
No. Teams must pack down and set up each day. The event area is not gated or secured off from the public.
No. Entry is free for spectators.
